University of Northampton

Education has an extensive history in Northampton dating back to the 13th century. The University was established by Royal character after approval from King Henry III in 1261.

It was the third University established in England and in the United Kingdom after the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge, and the twenty second in Europe. The University is situated in the heart of England and offers various subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and several professional certificates.

In 2013 Guardian University League table rank the University of Northampton as England’s No.1 University for employability and in 2012, University of Northampton was ranked No.1 for value added and climbed 31 places.
